HUNTER FERRELL,
FOUNDER

I served as the Chief Financial Officer at Linux Academy from 2015 until 2019 when the company was acquired by A Cloud Guru and Bain Capital. Before my tenure at Linux Academy, in 2011 I founded and served as CFO of a safety systems company that we successfully exited in 2011 through an acquisition to a national firm.

I hold a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Texas Wesleyan University, and I am an Advanced Finance Program graduate from the Wharton School of Business. I am also a member of Financial Executives International. I currently live in Colleyville, TX with my wife and my twin daughters.
